The medieval town of Besalú or 4. the beautiful Tossa de Mar, where you will enjoy shopping, restaurants, snorkeling, beaches with crystalline waters and an incredible castle that you can visit while enjoying wonderful views of the Mediterranean.

Montserrat

Montserrat is located on a rocky system with curious natural forms. The entire area is a natural park with special environmental protection status. Belonging to the monks of San Benito, the monastery was founded in the 11th century and rebuilt between the 19th and 20th centuries, and continues to function to this day, with more than 70 monks.

Getting to Montserrat by taxi takes one hour, driving 30 minutes on the highway and another 30 on winding roads that skirt the mountain until you reach the Abbey. The basilica houses the image of the Virgin of Montserrat called “La Moreneta” for its dark color and is the religious symbol of Catalonia.

Next to the Basilica, we will be able to visit a magnificent museum, taste typical products of the area and if the capacity allows it, listen to the Escolanía, the famous children’s choir. All choir members receive high-level musical training. They sing from Monday to Friday at 1:00 p.m.

Sitges

Sitges is a charming coastal town an hour by taxi from Barcelona. It has a large sandy beach, narrow streets in its historic area and small traditional shops, but with an exceptional design line. There are also many restaurants along the promenade where you can taste paella or seafood dishes such as octopus, monkfish, prawns and a considerable variety of dishes.
To finish, we can take a long walk along the shore. Sitges has 17 sandy beaches. All the beaches have flags indicating the state of the sea and most of them have quality certificates and blue flags awarded by the European Union.
